The Doctor

Chase Johnson, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

I was born and raised in West Plains, MO where I attended both Glenwood and Junction Hill elementary schools. I graduated as a Zizzer from West Plains High School. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, Cardinal baseball, and spending time with friends and family. Following high school I attended Missouri State University- West Plains. I then left West Plains for St. Louis to attend chiropractic school at Logan College of Chiropractic. As a teenager I began going to a chiropractor. My first adjustment was because I was attempting to skateboard and quickly found out how hard that can be. I participated in many sports throughout my teenage years and had many injuries because of those sports. I began to see the many benefits of chiropractic care.

I have always had a passion for helping people and always knew I wanted to be in the healthcare field. Throughout high school I began looking at options in healthcare and chiropractic always seemed right up my alley. I have always been more naturally oriented and the more I researched chiropractic the more I fell in love with what it offered as far as alternative medicine. After much research and speaking with mentors, I knew this is what I wanted to do and set my goals to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Since becoming a chiropractor, I have grown to love the profession even more. I can honestly say I love my profession. There is not a day I wake up and dread going to work. I began practicing chiropractic and acupuncture in May of 2013. In March of 2015, Another portion of my dream was to become a small business owner in my home town.

I look forward to serving the community of West Plains for many years. I plan to continue learning new ways to assess and treat patients.

Licensed Massage Therapist

I grew up in West Plains, Mo, attending Glenwood elementary and then becoming a West Plains Zizzer and graduating in 2006. Following high school I joined the Missouri National guard. Following initial training and a deployment as part of KFOR10 I started school at Professional Massage Training Center in Springfield, MO. After Graduating PMTC in 2009 I moved back to West Plains, and starting working in a spa setting. After working in spa setting for a few years, I started at a physical therapy clinic where I stayed for 3 years. In March of 2015 I went and met with the Southern Missouri Chiropractic staff and knew I wanted to be a part of this team. It was the perfect match to continue to do what I love and am passionate about. Almost 2 years in, and I am beyond grateful to have my career at Southern Missouri Chiropractic.

" it's a beautiful thing when a career and passion come together."
